The career of Dr. Dora Barilla, DrPH, MPH, CHES, in the healthcare industry spans nearly three decades. Dora has served on Jamboree’s advisory board since 2019. She is the Executive Leader, Community Investment for Providence St. Joseph Health, President and co-founder of HC2 Strategies, and Senior Fellow
for the Institute for Health Policy and Fellowship
at Loma Linda University Health. Dora is the former Assistant Vice President for Strategy and Innovation at Loma Linda University Health.
Dora is a key thought leader and proven innovator who has spearheaded strategic plans for health systems. Looking at needs assessment, implementation, strategy, advisement, coalition building, systems, and policy changes – the many spokes in today’s healthcare wheel - she drives meaningful change in the ever-changing healthcare environment.
A champion of health access, Dora actively engages the communities she serves using the power of the pen and voice. Dora is a national speaker on using community-based health strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of entire communities. She is a prolific writer, authoring the book, "A New Day, A True Story of Healing, Faith and Miracles" in 2010. Dora holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University and a doctorate in Public Health from Loma Linda University.
