Jamboree acquired and renovated Sky Parkway in a joint venture with FPI Management, a company that has partnered with Jamboree since 2000 in the acquisition, rehabilitation and permanent preservation of “at-risk” affordable housing communities. Residents were temporarily relocated during the renovation.
The goals of the renovation – to raise the quality of the community and preserve affordability for residents – were met and the result is a quality community with services tailored specifically for the needs of active seniors in Sacramento County.
The fairly walkable location blocks from dining and shopping encourages residents to stay active and independent. Five bus lines located within one-quarter mile of Sky Parkway greatly reduces the need for private vehicles.
