Linda Lasister has served as a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO)* member on the Jamboree board since 2010. Currently, she holds a position on the Resident Services Committee.
Presently, Linda works as a community manager for Newport Pacific Capital Company. Prior to that, she was with Star Management and Clayton, Williams & Sherwood for more than 14 years, where she held various community management positions.
Linda holds a Housing and Community Development (HCD) sales license and is a certified Manufactured Housing Community Manager (MCM). She brings to her board service years of expertise working with seniors and those with special needs, fueling a strong commitment to support Jamboree’s mission to provide permanent supportive housing with services to these groups. She also serves as a youth counselor at her church.
*Jamboree is a Community Housing Development Organization (“CHDO”) and has board members who meet the criteria to participate on the Jamboree board as its designated CHDO participants. A CHDO (pronounced cho’do) is a private nonprofit, community-based service organization whose primary purpose is to provide and develop decent, affordable housing for the community it serves and is eligible to receive funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s HOME program.
